EMERGE Leadership for the Sustainable Building Community: Pittsburgh Training

Emerge Front Cover OnlyHoping to lead successfully on a deep green project? Launch a deep green initiative?  Since 2011 the EMERGE Leadership Workshop has helped sustainable building professionals and activists effectively create change on the ground. But ‘til now you’ve had to travel to the West Coast to take advantage of the program.  That’s changing right now! The workshop that has been seen as “life-altering” and inspiring by leaders in the field is coming to Pittsburgh as an adjunct to the Living Products Expo. Jenna Cramer, Executive Director of the Green Building Alliance says “I’ve been wanting this workshop to come to our area ever since I was lucky enough to attend it two years ago.  It’s truly powerful.”

Led by EMERGE Founder and author Kathleen O’Brien, the half-day experiential workshop introduces the EMERGE Leadership model, showcases examples of the emergent leadership approach in action, while providing ample opportunity to discuss what this means practically for workshop participants in their professional and personal lives. An in-depth scenario activity will prepare participants to apply emergent collaboration.

Registration (*$125) includes a FREE copy of “EMERGE: A Strategic Leadership Model for the Sustainable Building Community.”  (*$100 if an ILFI Member). Learn more and register for the event at https://productexpo.living-future.org/schedule/
